Chaffinch

This week is proving a little more difficult than I thought in terms of getting bird shots.

Usually the garden is full of different types of birds but at the moment many of the usual ones are visiting less frequently. I suppose this is down to the fact that there is an abundance of natural foods around for them to access in the hedgerows and trees at this time of year...

....or maybe they are just visiting at different times of the day and I'm not noticing them as much.

Whatever the reason, I'm missing them - they are a constant source of entertainment and I want them back!!!
