Kirkstone Pass

Today was leaving day from the lodge - I'll miss it! It really was a lovely and relaxing place to stay, I'd highly recommend it. Originally we were supposed to just go back to Edinburgh, but we thought Ed's cats would be too stressed coping with Hamish for three nights, so decided to go to my mum's for two nights then up to Edinburgh for one. We took the scenic route down to Lancashire, through the lake district. We stopped at the Rheged Centre in Penrith for lunch and a nosey at the shops. The blip was taken on the Kirkstone Pass on the way from Penrith to Ambleside.
