Miss Bateman
All types of clematis thrive in this garden and I just love them, but this one in particular. I may have to get another because this is on the side of the garage wall which faces the cul-de-sac. It's also rather hidden by a variegated Photinia Red Robin.
Decided to clean out the conservatory this morning, which entailed finding room under the stairs for the four boxes of toys, moving the rowing machine (which is never used) into the garage and generally shifting things around. All a bit silly considering I've had a bad back for the past week and it's only just feeling better.
Very busy in the garden with birds popping in and out, including a male greater spotted woodpecker and even a starling made a quick pit stop.
So today I would like to introduce Miss Bateman and a tiny grasshopper.
