just paws-ing for a snooze

Another early walk before the rain around Abbots Wood with the pups accompanied by a friend. I haven't been there for a while and was sorry to see the bluebells have past their best already but pleased to see the waterlilies getting ready to bloom.

We met a lot of dogs today, Emily wasn't too bad barking. She took a fancy to a matched pair of spaniels so plenty of sniffing and tail wagging all round. My companion was impressed by the friendliness of the dog walking community with most walkers stopping to chat.

The pups have enjoyed a sleepy afternoon which might mean we're in for a lively evening!
