The New Bridge

Work continues on the new Road Bridge - or I should say "The Queensferry Crossing" - that crosses the river forth.

The bases now appear to be completed or at least they are at the stage where the towers that will hold the road itself are now "Rising from the Forth".

This is one of the towers that is near to North Queensferry - and on such a lovely morning that we had, it looked great as the sun hit it.

And just as well I managed to shoot it this morning, as by the afternoon, the skies had grayed, the heavens opened, it was hail rain and Thunder!!

Only in Scotland!!
