May Sisters’ Challenge; mocha
It’s been a busy and tiring morning; I go to a gym and exercise class for people with heart and respiratory problems. It’s both funny and uplifting. Funny watching a group of completely uncoordinated people trying to move to music - think ‘Dad dancing’ at its worst. I include myself in this. And uplifting to see some people working out on the various gym machines while wearing oxygen masks.
I should add humbling as well; I’m one of the youngest and consider myself to be reasonably fit. I get onto a rowing machine just vacated by an elderly woman. I struggle to pull and realise that it’s set on the highest load. I have to use the lowest. Now, either this little old lady is playing mind games with me by winding up the tension before she gets off, or she’s WonderWoman’s granny.
When I get home there’s an amazing smell coming from the kitchen. Anniemay has been to the coffee shop for blip materials. She blips the beans, I blip the result. And I get a drink into the bargain.
