Mechanical Elephant

The cottages on the other side of the canal have limited road access so it’s entirely normal to see vehicles driving along the tow path to reach them. Today was something a little more unusual - I don’t know what the machine is, but the chap was driving it with the remote control and walking backwards along the canal as he carefully steered it to its destination. He did the same in reverse 5 hours later. The man driving the Ford transit that followed him had obviously not driven the route before and went very, very slowly!
