Princes St Gardens

Had a wander into town to get a few things and to see if there was anything worth having at the massive annual Christian Aid book sale on George Street. I wasn't enjoying being in the city at all at the time, so I took a slightly greener route and instead of going down Lothian Road and along Princes St, I nipped down beside the Usher Hall, over Castle Terrace, and along the west side of Princes St Gardens. I don't often go in this side for some reason, but there are so many beautiful spring flowers out at the moment, including these colourful rhododendrons.
