Bombus pratorum

Today didn't start well, 4 hours of being really ill, not really sure why, guess something I'd eaten didn't agree with me, but work was out of the question. Thankfully as the day progressed the pain and other symptoms eased and I'm at least partly human now.

This little bee was buzzing round as I was trying to find something to photograph tonight a look on the bumblebee conservation trust website revealed it to be Bombus pratorum or the Early Bumblebee.
