Lost in a Good Book

Ben reads voraciously at the moment, we are struggling to find appropriate books for him: he is ready for more adult writing but not so much adult themes. Any suggestions for post Harry Potter level reading?

Up and down sort of day, but mostly OK. Marking is taking over my life again, but soon will be done, and I have done enough tonight to allow me a bit of time off tomorrow!
