The Throne

Well it must be - because it is the start of the rain.

This afternoon all but got rained off. Thunderstorms even.

Only managed three or four shots before I had to dive for cover. Managed a few more later on when the sun came out and produced a rainbow.

I did manage to ascertain that the Great-crested Grebe was still sitting on its nest.
I didn't see any sign of the kestrel where I know it to be nesting. Couldn't stand around waiting in the rain. Maybe another day.
