The Church of the Holy Cross

WALTHAM ABBEY.

Steeped in history, there has been a church on this site since the days of King Harold - he of the death by arrow fame - in 1066.

I am told that one of the best lights of the day to take photographs is at dusk.

Clearly this presumes one has an eye for photography in the first place.

Still. It got me out of my room for an hour. Then back to my boring 'sachet' coffee unlike that of my business partner who has just acquired a posh new coffee maker!

Not bitter at all you understand.

Unlike my coffee. :(
