Damselfly, More Like A Damselfish

A few sunny periods but we've had mainly rain and some hail here in Essex today.

This poor damselfly was clinging onto the blade of grass for dear life as the heavens opened and raindrops kept falling on its head. Jazzy dog and I got soaked.

My son used to keep a tropical marine aquarium when he was a teenager. The vibrant blue colours of damselflies remind me of the neon blue of his damselfish.
