welcome 2010!

we had to welcome the sun into 2010 in style...and hence three of us decided to go on an early morning off road bike ride...and what a ride it was...we started a little later than planned...I would've loved to see the sun coming up at the horizon, from a dirt track...but had to welcome him from the road itself...we left the road for the dirt tracks and started twisting and turning with the them, hardly realizing where we're heading...that's the most beautiful thing about off-road exploration - each time you find out a place that's even more fascinating than the previous one...we saw a lake and headed towards it, and were in fact surprised to find small paddy fields in the middle of nowhere...riding on uneven mud surface and loosely scattered hay, at times we had to just pick our bykes up and cross a section on foot...couldn't have asked for a better start to the new year in Hyderabad...

lot of personal goals this year - don't know how many will be accomplished but still, at least they will give me some direction over the period of time...here's wishing myself a great adventurous year ahead with loads of travel (probably something on the lines of the the Himachal biking trip I went last year), cycling trips, good photography and never before experiences...hmm...that should be enough to keep me going for a year :)
