End of a changeable day
Woke to rain. Drove to work in drizzle which transformed to bright sunshine with delightful colours in the clouds and reflected by the waters of the Waitemata. By the time I reached the hospital, the morning was grey.
Thereafter, every time I looked outside, it seemed different weather was happening. This photo was taken not long after 5 pm from the deck of the apartment, as the setting sun approached the horizon. The small gap in the clouds where the sun is visible closed shortly afterwards, and the night closed in quite quickly also.
The work I did today was also marked by very different tasks at different times. Two months into this locum, I have to say that there seems little chance of the work of any one day being the same as the work of the previous day or the next.
