Thornton Beach
Up early today for a full day tour up into the Daintree Rainforest and what a day it was !! Saw some awesome native trees, plants, crocodiles, snake, lizards, amazing butterflies and scenery. There was little bird life as most of the plants are toxic and do not support much animal life. The whole experience was like from another world back in time.
We also saw all weather types, from warm and overcast, the occasional sharp shower when we were in the minibus then hot sunny and humid. The only thing that didn't go to plan was the swim in the water hole due to last nights rain.
The blip was from one of the beaches we stopped at early in the day before climbing into the gorge and hillside. The name made Nick think of work (he works for Thornton's)
