Local Hero

This is the monument to Sir Hector Macdonald at Mulbuie. It was erected by his school friends. There is a lot of information about him in Dingwall museum and on the internet including a preserved leg from his horse.
There is a much larger monument on the hill above Dingwall
It is a lovely day again and I have spent some time in the garden weeding, which makes me feel very virtuous!.
