Expo Gold
Expo Gold ( Xanthostemon chrysanthus or Golden Penda ) was especially created for Expo 88 held in South Bank, Brisbane 1988 during the bicentenary celebration.
The "Green and Gold" feature of large pompom-like yellow flowers were prominently greeting the visitors from around the world.
The flowers also attract native birds such as Loriketts to its nectar.
