Sunset Under a Pink Pier
I had a bit of spare time after work tonight as I was heading along to a talk about colour management and calibration at Photo Warehouse in Christchurch later in the evening.
So with a beautiful sky to the east and the light fading, I sped over to New Brighton to take some shots around the pier.
The lights under the structure change colour on a cycle (blue to purple to pink to red etc) so I chose to get a nice angle to highlight the artificial and natural colours of sunset around the pier as it stretches out into the ocean.
I also caught up with Daring2Go tonight for the first time in a little while (we usually chat online most days) and it was good to have a good old natter. We both found the talk by the Eizo monitors man very informative, but it was also good to have a catch up over a chai latte (or Pale Ale in my case) and a yummy Pizza at the brewery. Thanks J!
