Canonteign Falls

Today we visited Canonteign Falls.

Waterfalls always remind me of my holidays to Switzerland as a child. There I saw some truly amazing waterfalls, ice cold water running from glaciers. The sound of the falls was unbelievable.

As soon as we arrived at Canonteign I could hear the sound of the water in the distance. I was excited to go and see the falls. The walk was not too difficult and the children managed the climb, holding our hands.

We weren't disappointed. The falls were beautiful and the scenery equally so. Once we reached the top of the falls we could look across the hills.

Oliver and Isabella were amazing, they walked all the way. They both received lovely certificates to celebrate their climb to the top of the falls.

Can't wait until I have time to look at, and edit my photos in details, but for now here's a quick snap.
