Franskraal shells

Visiting my sister at her beach house at Franskraal. We went alikreukel hunting this morning (alikreukel are like giant sea snails), the water was very cold but after I found one, we just had to continue a while longer until we found a few more, since cooking only one is not worth it. After an hour in the water I was freezing and my legs were cramping, so we went home. It took me a few hours to warm up, it was only after a pizza and a glass of red wine that I felt human again.

In the afternoon I went for a walk along the beach and picked up some shells.
