Happy New Year

Lovely, late afternoon walk-off-the-excesses on Cortsorphine Hill. It was really cold and bleak up there, mind you, with hardly a soul about. There was such a stunning deep red sunset tonight and, although I took a few shots of that from the top, I have opted for this one taken on the north side of the hill whilst clambering our way up! The muted tones and silence were a welcome change from all the colours, sparkling lights and noise in town at the moment.
