A group of 20+ walkers were promised a mini bus to get us to the start of the walk today

A double decker bus turned up - unable to negotiate the narrow lanes and cattle grids on route to the start point - leaving us 3 miles short. The enterprising leaders press ganged some cars to ferry the walkers to the walk start point.

A grand walk - starting on the slopes of Sneafell - a short climb - then downhill all the way to Ballaugh

Unfortunately there was an hour to wait for the bus back to Douglas - at the end of the walk - we had to have a pint to the local pub whilst waiting for it.
