Tick Magnet

Was trying to photograph a tick for today's blip, as they are a bit of a theme at the moment. But not successful as don't have a macro lens. Then the cat obliged by accidentally rolling off the step. So blipped her instead.

The deer round here are the cause of the tick problem (and it's a bit of an epidemic this year - due to the warm winter), the cat then picks them up. She's treated so they die if they bite her but her fluffy coat brings them in and they just make a beeline for me. Horrible things, such itchy bites and the threat of Lymes is a continual cause for concern.

Realised this is my 200th blip - what a cheerful topic!!!
