Metal Beetle

The children used to call these metal beetles because they clattered (metalically?!?) against the windows at night as they were drawn to the light. Lots of them live in the vegetation that covers the outside walls of our house.
This one plopped in front of us this evening as we partook of a glass of wine and salty snack on the patio.
