Meteora, Greece

Hello, everyone,
It seems that the last time I blipped was because I was abroad with the Comenius project. It has happened again - this time, Greece.
We spent a fantastic day in the Meteoro area, which has got more monasteries than you can swing a cat at. The rock formations in this area are spectacular, and using my wee point-and-shoot meant bad images from the bus, apart from this one. Because of the steep incline, the bus was going at a snail's pace - bliss for photographers.
The Greeks have pulled out all the stops to make our visit memorable, and this day was a spectacular one. It is good to be with friends we have come to make over the past year of visits.
Of course, the Greek salads, wine and meats help the friendships along......
