Interestingly different day, in a conference about digital humanities. Really enjoyed hearing the range of speakers, and getting some academic stimulation. Then a mad dash down to the parliament building for a reception to launch a new international research centre, which went on longer than I expected. Walked through the park home, and the gorse on the crags and Arthur's Seat was glowing. Very tired but the walk perked me up a bit ....almost enough to start working on shortlisting for tomorrow!
