Party day

Katie had a party this afternoon for one of her little friends. She insisted on wearing her dress to nursery. She twirled and danced the entire way there. Nursery said that the children were uncontrollably excited about the afternoon's party - most of them were going. They also said that they have been very impressed at how Katie is now blending her words. Her keyworker said she tried making it harder and harder but she kept getting it. Its all just clicking for her.

We walked to town after nursery to get gifts for today and the next party and look for a book she wants (failed). We managed to leave town without a babyccino - thats how excited she was about the party! We had a little play at home and then went to nursery to meet our friends who were taking us. On the way, she found out that her very special friend was coming too. Oh did they squeal when they saw each other. A fab party, they were all very excited to be together. She was shattered come bed time.
