Empty pots

Still a lot of work to done in the garden but I thought I would wait until we return from our holiday and when the risk of frost is less before filling these pots.

The twin calf had its calf coat removed today and N says it is now doing better than its twin which remains with their mother in the field! Although smaller and weaker it has always been much more adventurous and has more spirit than its twin brother. It now gulps down the milk from the bucket without any persuasion while its little mate, used to a rubber teat, still sucks the fingers in the milk.

Attended a meeting this morning at the Airfield Tavern, supermarket shopping then gardening. A beautiful day.
