St George the Martyr, Hindolveston, Norfolk
St George's church has a chequered history. The present building was erected in the 1930s to replace a wooden building. This was in existence because in or around 1890 the tower of the original St George's fell into the nave. Nowadays it's difficult to imagine what the original building may have looked like - the only remnants are part of the ivy-clad tower and a few piles of masonry.
