Side by Side

Nipped out to see my mum this evening. The gardens at the Nursing Home are pretty nice but I've yet to see anyone using them apart from the gardener. Does actual gardening count as use? Not sure. Anyway, the garden benches are waiting patiently for some summer occupation.
Mum was OK if a little confused at times but that's normal these days. She can skip between decades in between sentences; keeps you on your toes! She had a wee moan though that she was drinking too much tea which left me completely gobsmacked. However she did admit that she never, ever turned down the offer of a cuppa. My reading is that they're looking after her just fine!
