bluebell woods

A camera club outing to Courtmacsherry Woods. Very beautiful, endless carpets of bluebells and ramson garlic. Dappled light and beech leaves. Really lovely and lots of great shots were taken.
But in the end I was bored with all the classic bluebell shots and wanted to do something different. One of the others showed me this technique, though I know it needs a lot of practising yet! It was done in camera, in the taking of the shot, not in photoshop.
It reminds me of the wax pastel drawings of an old friend long ago.
