Rice-paper petals.
After a night of rain, the garden looked all sparkly and drippy this morning, so I had a wander around the front of the house. I didn't realise that one of the pretty Eastern Rosellas was in the Grevillia tree, so I accidently scared him off, but I'm sure he'll be back this afternoon.
Everywhere I looked, the light on the water-drops looked so pretty, beading on the leaves and dripping from the edges of both leaves and petals. I ended up taking about forty photos, thinking it would be a water-drop photo I would be adding today.
There was just one single Tibouchina flower on the bush, so I took just one quick photo of it, never imagining how gorgeous the petals would look on the computer screen. You may have to go large with this one to see how the white petals look like rice-paper.
Thank you to everyone who commented and left hearts and stars for my photo of gorgeous "Sammy" yesterday. He's a darling kitty and I'm so pleased that you all thought he is as adorable as we all do. :)
