On a Autumn's Day

It has been cold damp day and then this afternoon the sun showed its face, so I got my camera and took a walk around the block. And wouldn't you know it the sun disappeared!

Not long now and all the Autumn leaves well be gone. I do love the colours of Autumn and this year they seemed to have lasted longer, probably because we haven't had a frost yet. The cloud seems to be lifting now, we maybe in for be a good day tomorrow. They say it is to get down to -2 tonight, so a frost maybe on its way.

In Autumn

They're coming down in showers,
The leaves all gold and red;
They're covering the little flowers,
And tucking them in bed
They've spread a fairy carpet
All up and down the street;
And when we skip along to school,
they rustle 'neath our feet
