Cherry picking

Beside the house is a dis-used orchard of some 500 cherry trees. We've been given permission to pick as many as we like if we can clear a way to them so today L and I "leapt" the fence and set about with saws and secateurs and picked out a path around a dozen trees. With 6 hands de-stemming and stoning, this first batch has been turned into cherry sorbet ready for our blip-meet supper next week. Yummmm!
