Warnscale Bothy

The aim of today's excursion was to locate Warnscale Bothy. On the way there we bumped into several friends - it seemed that everyone had decided to climb Haystacks yesterday. When we arrived at the bothy there were two people from the Mountain Bothy Association who were doing some renovation work. They asked whether we had come to take photos, and then very obligingly unwrapped the chhimney which was covered in sacking to protect the repointing. They even pointed out where the "professional photographer" had put his tripod when he came to photograph it!
