Sunny Traquair!

The oldest continuous inhabited house in Scotland.......Traquair House with the famous Bear Gates which haven't been opened since 1745 after Bonnie Prince Charlie left to go south, the Earl said the gates wouldn't be opened till a Stuart was back in the throne of Britain! , the temporary drive is still used to enter!!

Lovely day with Canadian visitors travelling from Jedburgh to Edinburgh, blue sky day till our visit to Craigmillar Castle thunder & lightning!! Very atmospheric!!!
