Owl wisdom

A wise old owl sat in an oak
The more he heard the less he spoke
The less he spoke the more he heard
Tis wise to be like that wise old owl

This takes me back to my childhood when we all had autograph books (this probably dates me...have today's kids heard of them I wonder?)
The above verse was my favourite and I think I wrote it in all my friends' books!
Wise words indeed - this wooden owl sits on top of my tv cabinet and fixes me with his stare...
