The Duck Project

This momma duck and her babies somehow found themselves right in front of our house this morning. Once she realized there were too many people about, she decided to head back to the pond where it was safer. The babies had no problem going through the holes in the cyclone fence, but mom got stuck and forgot she could fly over the fence to get to them. I went over to the neighbor across the street and told him what was happening and between us we herded her up into the air and over the fence where mom and babies were reunited. A happy ending.
