Noorderslag

Went to visit the awesome Belgian artist Walter Hus at the Noorderzon festival (held in my back garden). He's got an organ installation controlled by computer, which allows for some pretty nice effects, sometimes thumping, sometimes trance-like.
After the first song the audience was invited to experience the sound of the pipes from the middle of the installation.
Some bore actually left the concert at that point, claiming that the people scuttling about 'broke the spell'. I couldn't disagree more. The people looking around in silence and wonder, moving slowly, just added to the magic of it all. Your loss, boreman.
