J's new bike

J bought himself (with a loan from the bank of mum and dad) a new bike. Here it is arriving back on his roof rack from a muddy evening ride along with muddy clothes and bloody (not swearing) jeans.

Due to this ridiculous purchase he has had no money all month. The bi pass slip road into Kendal has been closed for resurfacing for nearly 2 weeks meaning he has to drive back from work via narrow lanes though the villages. Pulling in tight to the left to get past oncoming traffic on monday he got a side wall puncture. So he had to go to the bank of dad and mum for a further loan for an unexpected replacement tyre. Oh dear oh dear oh dear
