Frampton Marsh

Sorry I haven't been around for a while. Just really busy at work and not been able to get o9ut and about with the camera.

More than made up for it today. We had to drop the girls off for their second
Duke of Edinburgh weekend so decided to make a day of it. We were going to make a weekend of it but the forecast was so bad!!!! So will leave that for next time. Visited RSPB Frieston Shores and he heavens opened. We hope this wasn't the weather setting in for the day. We decided to driver further into Boston to check out the other RSPB site at Frampton Marsh.

We stopped on the way Pilgrim Fathers Memorial at Fishtoft. It was really rather disappointing, a small lump of granite with a commemorative plaque.

Frampton Marsha was excellent, I managed to dodge the rain and got several new birds for my birdfreaks count.

This little fellow was singing sweetly and posed for a few minutes for me. Sedge Warbler I believe.
