Handy Exhibition..

This piece of art has had me laughing for over two years now. It was hand crafted back in the summer of 2012 in readiness for an international expo in November of that year. It was designed for a product launch that was intended to hang from the ceiling above our stand showing off the glove. It took weeks for the craftsmen to cut it out in polystyrene then our designer had to paint it in the colours of 'Capilex', our new glove of 2012. We then had it transported very slowly & very carefully over to Dusseldorf to bring beauty to the expo.... only for the Germans to refuse us to exhibit it as it was deemed a fire hazard.. since then it's been sat on our mezzanine floor literally gathering dust under a tarpaulin waiting for a second chance at a show. Well that show may be upon us at Excel in central London in 6 weeks time & it's being repainted - how exciting. My Marketing director has had sleepless nights over this bad boy and me chuckling about it every other day probably doesn't help. 'Fingers' crossed that London's H&S allow us to exhibit it otherwise.... home it comes again.
