The Golden Stupa

The Golden Stupa is a surprising and beautiful sight in an otherwise residential area in Island Bay, Wellington. Located on a high ridge overlooking Owhiro Bay it's in the grounds of Wat Buddha Chatya Mohaneth: a Thervadan Buddhist monastery serving Wellington's Cambodian community.
