A Little Cross

See that little cross hidden in the left , that subtle little cross . That's exactly the opposite of how subtle Lottie's little cross tantrum was tonight.

Some huge disaster caused by my making her wear an alternative swimming costume and she was a little cross and a little stubborn and there was nothing I could do to get her into the pool

She locked herself in a locker for half an hour and wouldn't budge

Swimming lessons should be a fun time with kids and as long as we go for the OED definition of fun being "an hour or so of standing round in changing rooms that smell of wee whilst gradually over heating and being nagged for chips and at the same time waiting 40 hours for a shower to be free for child to wash hair in " then yes it's fun

This was the church we were parked next to and after swimming the sky views and sunshine were enough turn everyone's mood round

In other news , the lovely Wendy and Tony have been helping me garden all day . It started as bush trimming and ended up with derooting a few trees accidentally .
