Honky Tonks

Church halls get used for a wide variety of functions. This lady is putting out a sign advertising "Honky Tonks" - music classes for pre-school children.

These days if your child - however young - is not involved in some kind of organised activity, whether it is music, gym, art, sport, chess or anything else, it seems that you are judged to be failing as a parent. We all want the very best for our kids, and that means we all feel obliged to hunt out every opportunity for them so that they end up fully booked. Many of these activities are, undoubtedly, very beneficial, but do we overdo it?
