Bannana Cutting
Tonight was an open house night at Q's school.
The bannana cutting activity has many steps. It was so fun to hear him explain how one of the steps is to peel off the sticker. After he made the slices ready with toothpicks, he offered them to others, then smiled when the last one was taken.
He enjoys school, but lately has been feigning illness in hopes of staying home and watching YouTube videos. He's discovered a new genre...Thomas the Tank Engine videos put together by children and other collectors. He's so desperate to watch these that he says he has a headache, a stomach ache, or a bad cough. Today, he even fake coughed!
We'll see how tomorrow morning goes!
What is not obvious in this photograph is that Q's shirt and shorts are on backward. His unders are backwards and inside out. His cousin is in the background, slicing and juicing an orange.
Quinn seems to be longing for a change-of-pace. Me too. I decided yesterday that it is time for summer vacation. I have more than a month left to go, though. And SO much work to get done before the school year ends.
