still life with Buddha

Believe it or not I worked my derriere off on this one.

This is the kitchen table in the cottage we rented at Lake Ninevah.
I shot this picture 4 or 5 different ways on different days, with different framing, different lighting, varying composition and bracketed exposure.

Today the kids and L. went to the discovery museum to allow me to study,
and as an attempt to procrastinate even further I shot this pic.
