St. Colman's Well

Dear Diary,

I finally made it to St. Colman's well and cave. What a perfectly magical place! We tied our "clooties" to the tree and made our wishes then picnicked in the ruins of an ancient chapel. The walk across the stonescape of the Burren hardly prepared us for the rainforest feel of the area surrounding the well. If fairies exist they definitely live here! The wildflowers were wonderful and added to the charm of the location. Again, we had the place to ourselves...plus the ever present cuckoo!
