Lonely Swan

This is the cob, the partner of the swan who was on the nest. Unfortunately I understand that the swan has been killed by a dog. The RSPCA have taken the eggs but I do not know if they will survive. The cob is still sitting around the pond and today it watched as a coot took to the air.
